Senior Editor at Envision Pharma Group

This is a full-time, office-based, senior-level role within Envision Pharma Group’s Editorial department. The position involves the editing, styling, and formatting of a diverse range of medical communication outputs, with 5-7 years of editing experience in a similar environment required.


Main Duties

Fulfilment of Editor responsibilities, plus:

  • Substantively edit a variety of deliverables, including abstracts, posters, slide decks, and manuscripts

  • Oversee all editorial responsibilities for designated product account(s)

  • Line manage and/or mentor editors in the art of the trade.


Key Attributes/Competencies

  • BA in English or related communications discipline with an affinity for the life sciences.

  • Medical/pharmaceutical agency environment experience a plus, as is BELS, AMWA, EMWA, or ISMPP association.

  • Proven understanding of technical editing principles and familiarity with AMA Manual of Style. 10th Edition, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role.

  • Must have thorough understanding of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and of EndNote and InCyte. GraphPad Prism and Datavision® experience are a bonus.

  • Demonstrated ability to meet very short deadlines and to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment; to be a dynamic, proactive team-player who can communicate effectively with other team members at all organizational levels.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to provide commentary/support for suggested editorial changes.
