Jon has a broad range of practical experience across the full spectrum of medical publications, having worked on preclinical, pharmacokinetic and dose-ranging studies, pivotal clinical trials through to post-marketing trials/surveys and pharmacoeconomic evaluations. Jon believes in the importance of building strong and lasting working relationships with both clients and colleagues; he has, for example taken one publication plan from 2 years before launch to 8 years post launch. Neil originally qualified as a pharmacist and started his career with Pfizer’s R&D division in the UK before returning to academia to complete a PhD in biopharmaceutics. Neil then switched from academia to the commercial side of the pharmaceutical industry, starting as a UK-based medical sales representative, and then progressing through UK and international marketing management positions, including a 2-year spell in Germany, where he was responsible for a portfolio of marketed and developmental neuroscience products.
