Purpose
Envision Pharma Group (EPG) is committed to minimizing the environmental impact of our business operations while maintaining resilience against environmental risks and challenges.
Our commitments
- Decrease Scope 1 and 2 emissions by 55% by 2030, based on a 2022 baseline
- Decrease Scope 3 emissions by 10% by 2030, based on a 2022 baseline
- Procure 100% renewable electricity by 2030
- Have our science-based targets verified by the end of 2025
- Comply with all relevant environmental legislation, and where possible, strive to exceed minimum requirements
- Achieve a recycling rate of 50% by 2028
To meet our commitments, we will:
- Annually review EPG’s policy and performance against our commitments to ensure they remain relevant, and allocate resources for effective direction and implementation
- Educate and communicate both internally and externally to bring stakeholders along on the journey (including through our Supplier Program)
- Raise awareness internally and externally about our environmental impacts
- Monitor trends using published data, reports, and voluntary disclosure platforms for our business clients
- Continue to strengthen, refine, and analyze our data to assess trends and areas for improvement
- Report on our environmental performance, monitor our contribution to adverse environmental impacts, and implement appropriate actions for mitigation
- Integrate climate-related risks into our risk management approach by 2025
This environmental policy outlines our position on environmental issues and the policies and practices we will implement as we conduct our business across our global operations. As EPG operates from premises owned and managed by landlords, we will implement our reduction strategy where we have direct control. In cases where the responsibility lies with landlords or suppliers, we will work on an improvement plan in collaboration.
The ESG Steering Committee will oversee the organization’s environmental efforts. All employees can help incorporate the policy’s goals and targets into their daily roles at EPG by promoting awareness of how everyday actions impact the environment.
