Envision Pharma Group (Envision) has announced its participation in the United Nations Global Compact Initiative — a voluntary leadership platform for the development, implementation, and disclosure of responsible business practices.
“Implementing environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities is essential for ensuring ethical and responsible business practices,” says Greg Carpenter, Senior Vice President of ESG Strategy and Sustainable Operations at Envision Pharma Group. “By participating in this initiative, Envision can contribute to an inclusive global market, drive meaningful change, and advance our sustainability goals.”
Launched in 2000, the UN Global Compact calls on companies everywhere to align their operations and strategies with ten universally accepted principles in the areas of human rights, labour, environment, and anti-corruption. The UN Global Compact is the largest corporate sustainability initiative in the world, encompassing over 15,000 companies and 3800 non-business signatories from more than 160 countries, supported by over 69 local networks.
“At Envision, our business priorities are tied to our passion for our work in supporting patients, which is why we continue to focus on ESG issues that matter to our company, our stakeholders, and our industry,” says Howard Miller, CEO of Envision Pharma Group. “We proudly use our Envision core values as a compass in guiding our decisions and are committed to aligning strategies and operations with the United Nations Global Compact’s universally accepted principles.”
With this announcement, Envision is proud to join thousands of other companies worldwide committed to responsible business actions that create the world we all want. We share our commitment to promoting sustainability, ethical practices, and innovative healthcare solutions.
